BharatPhoton
Run your ISP from your phone.
BharatPhoton is a Flutter-based business management app built for India's 15,000+ hyperlocal internet service providers. It replaces WhatsApp groups and paper ledgers with a single screen for subscriber management, UPI payment collection, plan renewals, and support ticket resolution — designed to work on entry-level Android phones with patchy connectivity. Built as a developer on the project.

The Problem We Solved
India's hyperlocal ISP market is dominated by small operators — often a single person or family running broadband connections for 50–500 homes in a town or colony. They were managing renewals through WhatsApp reminders sent manually each month, collecting cash payments with no digital record, and tracking complaints in paper notebooks. Missed renewals meant subscribers just stopped paying and switched to a competitor. There was no affordable software built for this market — enterprise billing systems cost ₹10,000+/month and required desktop computers and trained staff.

What We Built
We built BharatPhoton as a Flutter app targeting Android 7+ with a UI simple enough to use without training. The subscriber list shows each customer's plan, data usage, and renewal date at a glance, with colour-coded alerts for accounts expiring in the next 7 days. Automated renewal reminders go out via FCM push and Twilio SMS 3 days before expiry. Payments are collected via Razorpay UPI — the ISP shares a link, the customer pays, and the app marks the account renewed automatically. A lightweight ticket system lets customers report issues via a WhatsApp-style chat interface. Google Sheets API syncs data to a shared spreadsheet for ISPs who want a backup their accountant can access.
What We Achieved
Adopted by 200+ ISPs across 8 states including UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra
Payment collection time reduced by 60% — average from 4 days to under 36 hours
Automated renewal reminders reduced subscriber churn by 25%
Support ticket resolution time cut from 3 days to under 6 hours
ISPs report saving 2–3 hours of daily admin work per operator
